This is me today.

This is me today. Super excited. And kinda of freaking out. I actually bought some duct tape just in case my head actually explodes. Duct tape is super handy for moments like that.

Anyhoodles, I wanted to write you this wicked long email about Curse of the Dragon and get you guys all as pumped up as I am about this book that I LOVE SO FREAKING MUCH.

Except I can’t.

Because I have way more to do for tomorrow than I can get done in the next twelve hours.

So, instead of getting a lovely, well-written epistle on how freaking awesome Curse of the Dragon is, you just get a graphic that says “HOLY SH*T! CURSE OF THE DRAGON COMES OUT TOMORROW!” Because that’s what I keep screaming as I run through my house, tripping on things and running into open doors, dropping things behind me as I run, while my teenage daughter stands out-of-the-way in the corner texting her friends, completely ignoring the possibly of death and dismemberment to her mom.

‘Cause teenagers are resilient like that.

Authors, however, are not so lucky. Authors lose their sh*t when they have to put their baby out into the world (digital baby, not the teenager standing in the corner), and it’s even WORSE when it’s a book the author loves so much, because there’s so much at stake. Things like self-esteem, hope, optimism, having the money to pay for said teenager’s data plan, sleep, emotional well-being, and a whole bunch of stuff like that.

So, while you’re sitting there with your latte, reading this, I’m losing my sh*t over here. But if the book gets out okay, and readers find it and fall in love with it like I did, then it’s all worth it.

And if the book release falls apart and explodes into carnage, mayhem, and destruction…well…at least you got this nice little graphic.

So, there you go.  It’s all good, no matter how it works out.

Peace out, friends.

~the Stephanator (as I like to call myself when I’m in badass mode, or when I want to embarrass my teenager).

PS I just realize I haven’t even posted the buy links for this dragon awesomeness. So, yeah, sorry. I really need to get my duct tape in place, because things are starting to hit the fan. But in the meantime, here are the links:

Amazon
Nook
iBooks
Kobo
GooglePlay

And if you want to know what it’s about, go here.  I would post the except and blurb here, but honestly, that might put me over the limit, and it’s way too early in the day for COMPLETE decimation of my ability to function, right?

Love you guys! Thanks for putting up with me. Sending you huge smooches.
